Monday 14th July 2008 Day One - Arrivals Day This year's ISCA guests arrived at Charterhouse and brought the sunshine with them! Students all seemed happy to be in the UK and didn't let the tiredness get them down. After a welcome meeting and some lunch it was time to explore the campus. The ISCA faculty showed them around the campus, pointing out the interesting fact here and there (there are quite a few as the school was founded in 1611!) and then it was down to Godalming, our local town, for a look around. There's quite a lot to take in on this first day and it is all about finding out how the campus works and getting settled in. Settling into the 3 houses, 'Robinites', 'Pageites' and 'Bodeites' our students were ready to get some sleep after a long day. It is great to be able welcome students to this 27th ISCA program and we look forward to a great 3 weeks. We are very happy to be welcoming our first school from Peru on the program and we await the arrival of the Girls Preparatory School from Chattanooga who were delayed due to bad weather. Welcome all!
