Day Seventeen - London & Hairspray

Each of us heads into London and it is a chance to catch up with some sights we might have missed or to spend some money in an array of shops.  Every school group has got its own agenda - the Hard Rock Cafe, Buckingham Palace, Harrods - and many more.  It is a warm day in London and there is quite a distance to walk in order to get everything done but it proves a very successful day.  Most groups gather in Covent Garden in the late afternoon for something to eat before making their way to the Shaftesbury Theatre to see Hairspray.  The show is an enormous success and the sheer fun of the show has the audience on their feet at the end.

It is a late return to Charterhouse but what a day it has been.  Fantastic!
