Wednesday 23rd July 2008 Day Ten - Stonehenge, On Campus A change of plan today as we were heading off to catch up with Stonehenge. After an earlire breakfast we headed off on the coaches to the county of Wiltshire and the ancient site of the stone cicle that dates from 2200BC. It is an incredible sight to behold and the stories that surround the circle help to add an air of mystery to the stones. We are not quite sure of their original purpose but there is no doubt that the group are glad that they managed to see this world famous landmark. Back to Charterhouse for lunch and then to an activity session. The day is quite hot and the sun breaks through halfway through the afternoon. After the activities are over there is a chance for a swim or some time to relax before the barbecue and dance in the evening. The dance is a great success, it is a beautiful evening and the disco is popular. Everyone gets to bed tired but having had a great day.
