On Campus Day

After a great day out in Canterbury we experienced one of the biggest downpours of rain the UK has experienced in a long time.  For most of the morning the rain meant that we had activities in the Sports Centre.  Parts of the country were flooded because of the weather but we escaped!  The afternoon dried up and we were able to get outside to play some soccer and cricket.  We are nearly at the end of our second week and it has been a truly wonderful trip so far. We enjoy a presentation on William Shakespeare in the evening and get to watch an animated version of Othello to help enjoy the play at the Globe Theatre tomorrow.  Let's hope that it doesn't rain!
