Our Daily Blog Welcome to our Daily Blog Page This is our ISCA Blog page for 2011, where you can find out all about our summer adventure. You will be able to see pictures and read reports of all the things we have done. We will try to get each day's reports up and running as soon as possible. Monday 11th July - Arrivals Day Everyone has arrived safely and after unpacking and getting to know the campus it was then important to keep awake until the end of the day! Much better to sleep during the night to get rid of the effects of any jet lag. Everyone took a walk down to the local village of Godalming after lunch and looked around. Godalming is a fairly typical English village and allows you to say finally, "Yes, I am in England!". A barbecue was held in the evening in the historic quadrangle at Charterhouse but most people were beginning to feel weary and so an early night was had by all. Thursday 28th July - London & Billy Elliot No separate page blog for today as all groups went their own way in London. Some groups went shopping in Harrods and Hamleys, whilst others took a tour around Buckingham Palace, went up Tower Bridge, or took a tour of Wembley Stadium. All groups made it to Covent Garden for something to eat before being met by the coaches for the short journey to the Victoria Palace Theatre for the performance of Billy Elliot. We returned to Charterhouse quite late after an excellent day.
Friday 29th July - On-Campus The final On-Campus day. Sports and some downtime for all students. Later in the day there is a quiz based on the three weeks. Everyone has a chance to think about packing! Will everything fit in the cases? ISCA joins Facebook - Click Here
